The thought of preparing for natural disasters, pandemic influenza or other emergencies is over- whelming. Having a personal or family plan has long been a mission of the Southeast District Health Department. We feel that preparedness is an important role we all play. This is particularly important in planning for the safety of our children.
Southeast District Health Department (SEDHD) has a multi hazard emergencyresponse plan developed in conjunction with County Emergency Managements plan. This plan covers public health's role in natural as well as communicable disease, to include Pandemic Influenza.
For copies of the plan or to review it, please contact the health department during business hours.
