Annual Reports

This report highlights the accomplishments of the local health department over the past year to meet the three core functions of public health and the ten essential public health services.

The Nebraska Health Care Funding Act (LB 692) was passed in 2001 by the Nebraska Legislature and provides funding to local public health departments through the County Public Health Aid Program (Neb.Rev.Stat. §71-1628.08) through the Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public Health (DHHS-DPH). The Act also requires eligible local health departments (LHDs) to prepare an annual report each fiscal year. These reports provide LHDs the opportunity to share a brief summary about what they do while providing the ten essential public health services to their communities.
